The thermoplastic coatings on our commercial picnic tables are compounded from Ryton® polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), a unique engineering resin developed by Phillips Petroleum Company. These coatings are characterized by high thermal stability while still retaining outstanding resistance to chemical attack and offer non-stick properties which meet all requirements of FDA regulation for food contact and combines the properties of durability and corrosion resistance.
